1.5 HRS of french commentated cruise for an unforgettable spectacle, discover one of the most beautiful bays in the world!

Saint-Malo is the birthplace of such famous sailors and illustrious corsairs as Jacques CARTIER, Bertrand-François Mahé de la BOURDONNAIS, Robert SURCOUF, René DUGUAY-TROUIN…
COMPAGNIE CORSAIRE invites you on board in the footsteps of these seafarers and the “Terre-Nuevas”.

The landscapes evolve with the flow of the significant tides in the bay of Saint-Malo (13 metres of tidal range). You will see islands and islets, many of which were fortified during the reign of Louis XIV, under the direction of the famous architect Sébastien Le Pestre de VAUBAN.

Leaving from Saint-Malo, at the foot of the ramparts, you will pass Saint-Servan, the City of Alet, the Bizeux Rock (a statue of Virgin Mary)  a place of pilgrimage for the Terre-Nuevas, the Tour Solidor, built in the 14th century and now the International Museum of Cape-Horners and  the place of departure of the famous navigator Jacques CARTIER for Canada.  You will approach the Rance Tidal Power Station that produces electricity thanks to the power of the tides; next the Vicomté, the Prieuré Bay, then Dinard and its elegant heritage-listed Villas Anglaises, and the Pointe du Moulinet.  Head out to sea via the channel of the Saint-Malo port, Harbour Island then Cézembre Island, followed by the Fort de la Conchée, the Fort National, the Grand Bé, where the famous writer and poet François René de Chateaubriand lays at rest, then the Fort du Petit Bé, and of course the ramparts and towers of the Corsair City of Saint-Malo, viewed from the sea.

Sometimes dolphins may be seen, even coming to accompany the boat.

The direction of the circuit may be reversed depending on the tides.
